At My First Schoolhouse, we aim to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.  Our preschool program is academically based and serves children ages 3 - 5 years old.  We focus on creating a love of learning that will last through every age.

About Us

Our Philosophy

We are excited to have your little one join our family! At My First Schoolhouse,  we think of each child as having their own toolbox filled with unique gadgets -- like knowledge and character -- that they use to equip themselves as they grow and flourish. Our mission is to further develop your child's toolbox into a collection of good social skills, positive personality, and the best possible educational foundation to lead to future academic success.

Our Preschool Program

Our preschool curriculum is carefully planned, educationally based and focused on the fundamentals using cutting-edge and catchy pneumonic devices to spark your child's already brilliant mind. Through Individualized Education Plans, each child is able to advance at their own pace while establishing a solid educational foundation.

We offer

5 Days Monday-Friday

3 Days Monday/Wednesday/Friday

2 Days Tuesday/Thursday


Full Day Programs 9:15am - 3:30pm

Half Day Program AM 9:15am - 12:15pm

Half Day Program PM 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Before and After Care available upon request

Meet Our Staff

We are proud of our My First Schoolhouse Staff. They make us who we are. Every staff member has been handpicked for their sincere passion for our program and their genuine love for our children. All lead teachers have a Child Development Associates Credential and all staff members have undergone extensive background checks, are fingerprinted and have fulfilled the requirements below:

  • Certified in Infant  CPR, Child CPR, Adult CPR, and First Aid
  • Completed Infant Safe Sleep, Shaken Baby, Blood-Borne Pathogen and Health and Safety Training
  • Completed 16 clock hours of annual training in child development, curriculum, child discipline, working with parents
  • Documentation showing they are free from TB  

Our experienced and attentive staff are trained to meet the needs of every student, classes are structured to offer the one on one attention each child needs and deserves.   At My First Schoolhouse we offer a 1:6 teacher to student ratio.
